“Without Consent” an Exhibition by Anjella Roessler

Anjella Roessler is a fine art photographer with an interest in the emotional links between the past and present.

“Without Consent”, investigates the trauma of sexual abuse of women, in both the colonial past and the current day, provoking us to ask ourselves why these issues remain ongoing.

Using plants containing DNA from victims, the images are created as portraits of the women, acting as visual markers for the viewers, and as links to healing of survivors.

Opening on Sunday 16 May and running until Sunday 6 June
